Recipe of Pickled Eggs

Egg recipe Ingredients (for 4 people):

Ingredients

  • 6-8 boiled eggs (peeled)

  • 1 cup white vinegar (white vinegar)

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper grain

  • 2-3 cloves

  • 1 small piece cinnamon

  • 2-3 dry red chilies (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon asafetida (optional)

Method of preparation:

Boil eggs

  • Boil the eggs for 10-12 minutes, peel it in cold water.

Prepare pickle of pickle:

  • Add vinegar, water, salt, sugar, mustard, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, red chillies, turmeric, and asafoetida in a pot.
  • Boil on medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Turn off the gas and allow the mixture to cool.

Put the eggs in the pickle:

  • Place boiled eggs in a clean glass jar or container.
  • Pour a mixture of cooled vinegar on the eggs, so that all the eggs are completely submerged.

Serving and Storage:

  • Put the jar in the fridge with a lid.
  • Get ready to eat after 2-3 days!
  • You can keep up to 1 week to enhance taste.

Tips:

  • Color and taste: Add slices of beetroot (beetroot) for pink, or add garlic buds for ectra flavor.
  • Crunchy Texture: Add onion or carrot slices.
  • Spicy version: Add green chili or chopped red chili.

 

How to serve:

  • With bread or paratha at breakfast.
  • Put chopped eggs in the salad.
  • As a snack with beer or cold drinks.
